Resident Evil Revelations 2 on the path of the Walking Dead, first trailer

The last entry in the Resident Evil series is entitled Resident Evil Revelations 2, and it will be out on the PlayStation 4 as well. Capcom has announced some big news about the last entry in the well known series, and they’ve released a teaser trailer too. The trailer gives us a good glimpse of the new location and atmosphere in the game. Which reminds us a lot of the old school Resident Evil, and that’s always a good thing.

Publisher Capcom also revealed that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be actually an episodic game, which means that it will be downloadable in four separate episodes, and each released week after the other. Those downloadable episodes will cost $6 each. Capcom will also release all four episodes together for the price of $25. Finally, Capcom will bring a retail, disc version of the game as well, which will reportedly include some extra content.

Capcom hasn’t said anything about how long those episodes will be. The story of Resident Evil Revelations 2 centers around two female protagonists and one of them is Claire Redfield who is coming back to the show.

The location is an abandoned detention facility which is actually just perfect for a horror title. Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be released next year on the PlayStation 4 and other platforms, and will feature both singleplayer and co-op as well.
