BioWare will close its forums with the exception of a single game.
Every IP’s forum section will perish, and only Star Wars: The Old Republic‘s segment will remain active. The Big Forum Deletion happens on October 25, so you still have time to archive everything if you want to do so.
According to BioWare‘s blog post, social media sites, such as Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr, and YouTube, expanded in the past years, and the developer can contact the fans via these sites, moving the communication over to these places.
You can still use the forums until August 26, and then, two months of silence happens before the death. Is BioWare afraid of a community outrage because of Mass Effect Andromeda?
