UPDATE: While the Battlefield 1 beta launches today for those who are subscribed to the Insider newsletter (check your email addresses!), there’s still a question: do you need a PlayStation Plus subscription to play the game?
The answer is: No! Don’t worry about it, just download the beta, which will be available for everyone tomorrow. (However, a warning for Xbox-owners: you will need a Gold subscription!)
@SpartanB013 You do not need a PS Plus account to play the Battlefield 1 Open Beta on PlayStation 4.

ORIGINAL: DICE‘s game, which launches in October, now received an entire hour of direct feed gameplay. Forget the shaky camera recordings, as well as the low quality, blurry videos, and the screaming crowd – you will have none of that here.
It’s the best way to see what the Sinai Desert offers us, and we can fight here from August 30 (if you’re an Insider) or 31!
Here’s a new video about the Sinai Desert map, so we can examine Battlefield 1 even more.
Five minutes of gameplay, but tons of action. Don’t forget, the beta will launch on August 31 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One, but Insiders will get a one-day early access to start the war!
Electronic Arts are flat out striking with Battlefield 1 (too).
The first World War-based Battlefield game will not ignore the PC-owners (like Titanfall 2 does), because the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC will all be able to participate in the open beta. According to DICE, it will start on August 31, although they didn’t say when they will close the gates on the players. Those who are part of the Battlefield Insider program (basically, newsletter subscribers), they will get early access to the beta. You can still sign up until August 21 here, but make sure to select your preferred platform, or you will not get that early access!
We can expect two game modes: Conquest with 64, and Rush with 24 players, respectively. Both modes will play on the Sinai Desert map, and an armored train will be a behemoth in the desert.
Battlefront‘s effect will be felt in Battlefield 1, as the Star Wars game’s Heroes will be the Elite Classes in WW I. The Flame Trooper, the Sentry, and the Tank Hunter will be the three „heroes”.
Battlefield 1 will launch on October 21 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but if you buy the Early Enlister Edition for 80 dollars, you can play from October 18.
