Ubisoft‘s new game reached new heights.
Githyp‘s data shows that Ghost Recon: Wildlands‘ highest amount of simultaneous players was 32,955 on Steam. Usually, a game’s retail version’s launch ends up having fewer players than during a free beta, but not this time!
Githyp points out that on Tuesday when the game arrived, the new Ghost Recon had 34,087 players. That’s more than what Ubisoft had during the beta phase. Unfortunately, we don’t know the numbers on uPlay, as that service has no public numbers. However, going by Steam’s increased results over the beta, uPlay potentially had a positive result as well.
For Honor fell off quickly, but Wildlands went higher. Will the players disappear here in a few weeks as well? We’ll have to wait and see to find that out…
