Batman resists everything, but he’s getting into trouble.

Superman is behind bars, but Batman gets questioned by many other DC characters, like the Flash, which could make the situation more complex than a regular South American soap opera’s plot. No wonder NetherRealm’s new fighting game got a new story trailer, which is called Shattered Alliances, Part 2 – that name could suit a soap opera, though. It seems like Batman will have to work with Superman to eventually save the world.

Multiple characters show up in the trailer, such as Gorilla Grodd, Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Bane, Captain Cold, Flash, and Reverse Flash – huh, looks like the last character in that list could be considered as a silent announcement by the developers.

Injustice 2 is out on May 16 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
