The not-so-serious golf franchise’s newest installment got renamed.
Everybody’s Golf (or Hot Shots Golf – the project used this name up to now) debuted on the first PlayStation in the late 90s, and it was a solid, relaxing (and challenging) golf game, which even had Gex in its sequel.
PlayStation Blog says that everyone can play Everybody’s Golf, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, with just three button presses. „The series returns with new features such as more character customization, robust online modes, and other fun activities including fishing, buggy racing and treasure-hunting in the open world environment,” the blog says. Its release date and pre-ordering bonuses were also revealed:
Instantly downloadable upon pre-order purchase:
- Everybody’s Golf Original Avatar
Available on Day 1:
- The 20th Anniversary Course
- Rabbit Mascot Costume x1
- Unique shirt x2
- Premium Kart x1
The game is available from August 29 (North America) or 30 (Europe), for 40 dollars/euros, exclusively on PlayStation 4. (Are we the only ones that think that the character on the thumbnail looks like a Mii?)
