There’s no year without FIFA and PES.
Football video games are ruled by EA Sports’ FIFA, and Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer series – the latter one’s latest installment was announced by the Japanese company yesterday. It is coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and PC. (Yep, prev-gen versions. Seeing how PES 2014 was made for the PlayStation 2, a 14-year-old hardware by then, it’s not surprising.)
Quoting the press release, Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 will „“hit the floor running with new features, new ways to play, a PC version to the standard of the leading console iterations, and an unrivaled gameplay experience.”
One such feature is going to be Real Touch +, allowing players to „react to receiving a ball using permissible parts of the body, such as chest, head, and legs to bring a pass under control dependent on the height and pace of the incoming ball.”
Oh, did you miss that? The PC port is now promised to be on the same level as the current-gen console ones. About time: PC players should not get a piece of garbage, prev-gen shoddy port. (They’ll get Denuvo, though.)
Have a look at a teaser:
