Another rumor/leak was confirmed during Microsoft’s E3 conference.

Square Enix and Deck Nine have announced Life Is Strange: Before the Storm, which has Chloe Price form a friendship with Rachel Amber in a new, dramatic story. Quoting the story synopsis from the website: „Life is Strange: Before the Storm is a new three-part; standalone adventure set three years before the first game in the BAFTA award-winning franchise. You play as sixteen-year-old Chloe Price who forms an unlikely friendship with Rachel Amber, a beautiful and popular girl destined for success. When Rachel learns a secret about her family that threatens to destroy her world, it is her newfound friendship with Chloe that gives her the strength to carry on. No longer alone the girls must confront each other’s demons and together, find a way to overcome them.

The first episode arrives on August 31 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Complete Season will cost 16.99€/$ in digital, with the original Chloe outfit offered in pre-order. A 26.99$/$ Deluxe Edition will also be available, featuring a bonus episode (Farewell: play the young Max Caulfield one last time in this special bonus episode), the ability to create your own playlist from the Life is Strange soundtrack and listen to it while watching a cinematic of the game, as well as an additional pack of clothes for Chloe, including the Punk Doe, Hawt Dawg Man and Illuminati outfits.
