Polyphony Digital has detailed the differences between the versions of Gran Turismo Sport.
Gran Turismo‘s official website has described that over the standard version, a Day One, a Steelbook, and a Collector’s Edition will be available… in Europe. We will detail this region – the US area has significant changes, read them here.
The standard edition needs no explanation, let’s move on. The Day 1 Edition will cost 80 euros, which offers livery stickers, 250K in-game credit, 60 PS4 avatars, and a chrome racing helmet in the game. The Steelbook edition contains 1.5M credit instead of 0.25M, a steelbook, and six bonus cars (Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3), Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 N24 Schulze Motorsport, Chevrolet Corvette C7 Gr.3, Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy, Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 T Sport, Volkswagen Golf VII GTI), for the same price as the Day One version.
The collector version is outstanding, but it’s also coming with a hefty, 130€ price tag. The in-game credit bonus is lifted to 2M, and you also get a 1:43 die-cast model of the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT, an Apex booklet „introducing the history of Vision Gran Turismo cars, driving and set-up techniques, and a plethora of automotive history. This is a Gran Turismo to be read, packed with the essence of Gran Turismo Sport together with beautiful Scapes photos,” as well as 18 bonus cars (Mazda LM55 Vision GT, Mitsubishi Lancer Gr.B Rally Car, Subaru WRX Gr.B Rally Car, SRT Tomahawk Vision GT, Ford Mustang Gr.B Rally Car, Ford Focus Gr.B Rally Car, Audi R18 TDI, Audi Sport Quattro S1 Pikes Peak ‘87, Peugeot RCZ Gr.B Rally Car, Toyota FT-1 Vision GT Gr.3, Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 N24 Schulze Motorsport, Chevrolet Corvette C7 Gr.3, Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy, Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 T Sport, Volkswagen Golf VII GTI, Peugeot 908 HDi FAP – Team Peugeot Total, Mercedes-AMG GT Safety Car, BMW M4 Safety Car).
Pre-ordering gets you three cars around here (Audi R18 TDI, Audi Sport Quattro S1 Pikes Peak ‘87, Peugeot RCZ Gr.B Rally Car), as well as 0.5M credit, and a dynamic theme. Digitally, the Digital Deluxe version nets you the usual stickers/avatars/chrome helmet, as well at 2M in-game credit and 12 cars (Audi R18 TDI, Audi Sport Quattro S1 Pikes Peak ‘87, Peugeot RCZ Gr.B Rally Car, SRT Tomahawk Vision GT, Ford Mustang Gr.B Rally Car, Ford Focus Gr.B Rally Car, Mazda LM55 Vision GT, Mitsubishi Lancer Gr.B Rally Car, Subaru WRX Gr.B Rally Car, Toyota FT-1 Vision GT Gr.3l, Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 N24 Schulze Motorsport, Chevrolet Corvette C7 Gr.3).
Phew. The game’s out on October 17, exclusively on PlayStation 4. There will be no microtransactions, either!
