Six in one.
On Reddit, Destiny 2‘s PC port was datamined. But before we get to that, the community takes the mic: they talk on both Bungie’s forums and on Reddit about how running a few programs in the background (Discord, CPU/GPU utilities, etc.), or not even that, made them banned. David Shaw, PC port lead, said that it’s „internet BS” as they don’t ban people for using overlays, they just block them in game.
Back to the datamining, spoilers incoming: Osiris DLC with Mercury Patrol Zone, Shiro and „Osiris” make a return, the next DLC will be called Warmind – these are mostly via unused spoken lines of Saladin and Cayde. There are references to the following, too: Reef, Dreadnaught, Moon’s Hellmouth, Mars, Venus, Phobos, Prison of Elders, as well as two events (Festival of the Lost, The Dawning). New locations could be The Myriad and Ganymeda.
To wrap up, there’s a DigitalFoundry video comparing the PlayStation 4 and the PC version as well:
The game that nobody expected received a Halloween trailer. Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back overkills the reference to Sonic, when back in the 90s, Bubsy was no more than a Sonic clone. The game’s out on October 31 on PlayStation 4 and PC.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is getting a season pass, and it’ll cost 40 dollars. In November, the Slaughter orc tribe comes, followed by the Outlaw one in December. In February, the first story DLC comes (Blade of Galadriel), where you can control Eltariel, and in May’s Desolation of Mordor, Baranor will be the next playable character.
Arc System Works’ Dragon Ball FighterZ got a new trailer and an exact release date – in the former, we can see Nappa. When does the game launch? On January 26 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Earlier than expected!
It seemed like that Injustice 2’s PC port’s open beta would start on October 25, but Warner decided to delay it indefinitely. The port is handled by QLOC, who previously ported Mortal Kombat XL from consoles to PC.
In Japan, Sonic Forces got a demo on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. While it might sound good, there’s a limit: you can only play it for ONE minute before the thanks for playing screen pops up. Well done, SEGA… at least the release date is close. Sonic Forces launches on November 7 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
