Diablo III: The First Game Returns! [VIDEO]

Darkening of Tristam is returning to Diablo III.

The first Diablo game is turning twenty-one in two days, and Blizzard celebrated its 20th birthday in January with an event which included the game’s dungeon in the third installment. This event is getting a repeat, according to the developers’ announcement on their blog.

However, if you already played through Darkening of Tristam roughly a year ago, prepare to be disappointed: you’ll get the same event with no changes. It will start on January 1 at midnight, and it will end on January 30. Stiffer, retro animations, familiar items from the past – if you spent hundreds of hours in the first Diablo two decades ago, it could be relived in Diablo III.

This game should get a remaster the same way the first Starcraft got one. *wink wink* Here’s the intro to Diablo until then.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
