Until now, we couldn’t see the PlayStation 4 version at all.
The Nintendo Switch port was already shown, but that will run at 30 frames per second, unlike the PlayStation 4/Xbox One/PC trio, which will go for 60. The Japanese Famitsu magazine published the first few images of FromSoftware’s game, which is about to get a network stress test on all platforms (in other words, we can try it out before it releases).
The lighting seems to be improved, and the textures don’t look that bad, but we don’t know if it’s going to be just DSFix on PlayStation 4 or more than that – a video could help us judge. (And the 1080p resolution is just a typo: the 4K resolution was already confirmed for PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC, though.)
Dark Souls Remastered will launch on May 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
