Dark Souls Remastered: Blighttown Will Not Run Badly [VIDEO]

DigitalFoundry has taken a look at the PlayStation 4 version.

In case you played the original Dark Souls on the PlayStation 3, you might remember that Blighttown had performance issues for the most part. This isn’t going to be the case with the re-release on the PlayStation 4, regardless which model you have in your possession (the original, the PlayStation 4 Slim, or the PlayStation 4 Pro).

During the performance analysis, it turns out that Blighttown has a solid, stable sixty frames per second frame rate on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro, which means that you shouldn’t have to die due to terrible performance. The analysis doesn’t stop there, as the Xbox 360 and the original PC versions are also getting mentioned.

Dark Souls Remastered will launch on May 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch port was delayed to an unknown day in the Summer.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
