Is Infinity Ward Developing A Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Sequel?

After 2016’s Infinite Warfare, Infinity Ward has to do something outstanding – perhaps they could do so by returning to Modern Warfare which started in 2007 in Call of Duty’s history.

Infinity Ward‘s senior communications manager, Ashton Williams posted a tweet with a skull, which was one of the critical design elements in 2013’s Call of Duty: Ghosts. However, Jason Schreier from Kotaku thinks that Infinity Ward isn’t working on Ghosts 2. Maybe they are making Modern Warfare 4 – they ran the series with bi-annual releases from 2007 to 2011.

We can twist things here a bit further, though: the game could be a remastered version of Modern Warfare 2 aside from the unannounced 2019 Call of Duty. In 2016, they tried to sell Modern Warfare Remastered tied to the more expensive version of Infinite Warfare. They might make a similar move this year, too.

Will 2019’s Call of Duty have a traditional single-player campaign? 2018’s Black Ops IIII from Treyarch omitted it for battle royale…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
