As recently there are a lot of games (Control, Phoenix Point, Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, Borderlands 3…) are heading towards launching first on the Epic Games Store, the question whether the sequel to 2004’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines will follow suit is reasonable.
The Devs Respond! First, the game’s Twitter account has written the following: „We will not be exclusive to Epic [Games Store] – we will be available on the Paradox store, Steam, GOG, Epic [Games Store], and you will also be able to buy it on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.” It wasn’t clear enough for some people, which is why they have confirmed it again last weekend: „Just to reiterate, as we have had a few questions around it – we will not be exclusive to the Epic [Games] Store.”
We also learned a few other details about the game on Twitter – for example, we don’t know when the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One pre-orders will become available, but we should keep an eye on social media; and there’s also no decision yet on whether Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2’s physical version will come with bonuses or not. Hopefully, we will – not everyone prefers getting games digitally. Sometimes it’s better – and makes us feel better – to put something on the shelf, as then, we can access the game easier, even possibly without an Internet connection.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, which will be set in Seattle, and which will not have day-night changes (!), will launch in the first quarter of 2020, between January and March, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
