Multiple games showed up on Steam by Electronic Arts, and shortly, they will add another service to Gabe Newell’s digital store.

Electronic Arts revealed in a press release that they added even more games to Steam, which are available with big discounts (up to 75% off). These are the new additions: Burnout Paradise Remastered, Crysis 3, Dragon Age II, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fe, Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, Need for Speed Rivals, Need for Speed (2015), Need for Speed: Heat, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Sea of Solitude, Unravel, Unravel Two.

If you dislike Denuvo, be warned: Electronic Arts hides its fat ass by not openly declaring that their games use Denuvo Anti-Tamper (and Codemasters is another company that can’t state on the store page that their F1 games use the DRM that ruins the performance…) Also, we need to state that „Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: EA on-line activation and Origin client software installation and background use required.” means you will have to also install Origin to use EA’s Steam games!

Electronic Arts also announced that EA Access will shortly launch on Steam. This is a monthly subscription service that has been available on Origin and Xbox One for a while, with the PlayStation 4 also receiving the service recently. For a monthly fee, you get access to a large chunk of Electronic Arts’ recent game library. It’s similar to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass. The plan is to launch EA Access on Steam later this summer.

So Electronic Arts is keeping its word – Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order wasn’t a one-time exception by the publisher. We only have to see when they will end up adding EA Access to Valve’s store. Probably in August if we had to guess. We’ll see.
