Goodbye Forza Horizon 3 – The Game Is Leaving Microsoft Store

We still have a month left to buy Forza Horizon 3 and its DLCs for PC and Xbox, then the game says goodbye to car lovers in September.

Forza Horizon 3 for PC and Xbox One is heading to the “end of its life” and will stop being on sale in the Microsoft Store from September 28. This has been confirmed by those responsible for the video game, explaining that such news will not affect at all those who already have the product in their virtual libraries.

In this way, the Playground Games open-world racing video game cannot be purchased in digital format from that date anymore, only in physical format for those who are lucky enough to find it in stores. In addition, all its downloadable content will no longer be available for purchase, DLCs, in this case, can only be purchased through the Microsoft store.

But it is not all bad news. Production managers have put on offer for these coming weeks the standard version of Forza Horizon 3, the Ultimate version of Forza Horizon 3 and the Forza Horizon 3 season pass making users eager to take a tour of Australia – now they have a good chance, since, we insist, the video game servers will not close in September.

The game will leave the Microsoft Store exactly four years after its launch when one of the best driving games of the entire generation arrived on the market. Thanks to its sense of freedom and to one of the best audiovisual displays of the genre in recent years, it became a must-play.

The video game, remember, invited us to explore Australia in more than 350 of the most extraordinary cars in the world. Its continuation, Forza Horizon 4, came two years later to continue expanding these attributes with Great Britain as the setting.

„Godspeed Forza, and Thank You!”
