Torchlight 3 arrives on the Japanese console in the fall, with an exclusive mascot figure, the Red Fairy. The game takes place 100 years after Torchlight 2.
Perfect World Entertainment and Echtra Games have confirmed in Indie World that Torchlight 3 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch this fall, with the other versions for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will also have its own mascot, the Red Fairy.
“Our fans have been asking us for a version of Torchlight 3 for Nintendo Switch, and it has been a very exciting experience for us to make it happen,” says Max Schaefer, CEO of Echtra Games and co-founder of the Torchlight franchise. “With Torchlight 3 we have created one of the most accessible games in the action RPG genre; it is a simple and fun adventure that is perfectly adapted to this platform and that serves as a perfect introduction to the Torchlight universe”, adds Schaefer in a note press.
The Echtra Games production takes users back to Novastraia 100 years after the events of Torchlight 2, when the Empire of Ember is once again in decline and the world once again faces the threat of the underworld and their allies giving Thus, an adventure where players will have to arm themselves with courage and enter the frontier in search of fame, glory and great challenges.
