There is no AAA game without it getting leaks in some shape.

CD Projekt RED‘s game is in its development finish line (which is why the developers have to do so some overtime to have everything planned for the base game to be completed…), so we’re getting closer to the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. Perhaps, it’s no wonder that the game’s map leaked. Here, you need to think of the physical map that is included in each physical copy of Cyberpunk 2077, as the Polish publisher doesn’t want to just toss a disc and a piece of paper (as an instruction manual) in its physical edition and be done with it.

Yes, if we compare the map with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, then yes, Cyberpunk 2077 is smaller, but you need to consider two things. First, Night City is quite dense, and second, don’t forget the verticality – there are tons of buildings with multiple floors that you can explore. Thus, there is some expansion, but upwards, unlike in Geralt’s story. The postcards (also included the physical edition of the game) also got leaked, as CD Projekt RED likes to include several bonuses to the game, which is partially why the company has a good reputation.

Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on November 19 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. By then, both next-gen consoles will launch (the PlayStation 5 hits America on November 12 and Europe on November 19, respectively; the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S will see a worldwide release on November 10), but the next-gen patch will likely not arrive until early next year. The new consoles will support the game, though. The expansions also got delayed due to the last delay, and the multiplayer, standalone component will come later (2022), complete with microtransactions.
