Former Little Nightmares Developer Team Creates Sci-Fi Horror

The new development studio, Section 9. Interactive has released some gifs about their upcoming project, which is a “sci-fi action-adventure title for PC and next-generation consoles.”

Section 9. Interactive is based in Malmö, Sweden, and is made up of ex-Tarsier Studios developers who worked on Little Nightmares and the upcoming Little Nightmares 2, as well as LittleBigPlanet for PS VITA.

Little Nightmares and its sequel – which will be released on February 21 – is a stylish, dark-minded stealth-horror platformer whose atmosphere evokes Tim Burton’s films. The unnamed game by the developers of Section 9. Interactive is also stylized, but much more similar to the Alien series and Dead Space, and also has some BioShock punches. We don’t know much about the game yet, but it’s a kind of action-adventure, with isometric shooters, and survival-horror elements on the neck.

In the animated gifs, the unnamed protagonist, wearing a biohazard spacesuit, shoots at various aliens and rolls away from them, avoiding their attacks. You can read a little more about the company on the interactive website of Section 9. Interactive.
