Microsoft announced the next batch of updates for its subscription service.
MLB The Show 21 from Sony Interactive Entertainment San Diego is now available on console (Xbox Series, Xbox One) and cloud (Android, but the PC and iOS testing is also underway!). On April 22, Phogs! (PC, indie – ID@Xbox) joins, followed by Second Extinction’s preview on cloud, console and PC, then Destroy All Humans! also on cloud, console, and PC, then on April 30, Fable III (cloud) and Fable Anniversary (cloud) hops onto Game Pass. In April, over one hundred games joined the service on PC via Bethesda’s catalogue and EA Play.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can experience Xbox Touch Controls (on phone) on six more games (Banjo-Kazooie, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Double Dragon Neon, Killer Queen Black, Overcooked! 2, Wreckfest). The following DLC was mentioned: Game Pass subscribers can acquire Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition – The United States Civilization with a 10% discount, Microsoft Flight Simulator: World Update IV, featuring France & Benelux is available, Sea of Thieves’ second season has launched, and there’s also the Lily update for Spiritfarer.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can pick up the Warframe: Excalibur Jade Bundle, and until May 3, they can also claim the Apex Legends Have Faith weapon charm. Quoting the Xbox Game Pass quests text, „you can still earn 2x points for select Hidden Easter Egg-themed monthly Xbox Game Pass Quests in April. That’s 150 points per Quest you can rack up, redeem, and use to spend on goodies like Xbox gift cards and more. And remember to claim your points for your completed Quests before the end of the month!” From April 20, there are two weekly quests as well: collect 300 candy in Costume Quest 2 to get 50 points, and Ultimate subscribers can get another 25 for simply playing Sea of Thieves.
On April 30, Endless Legend (PC), For the King (console, PC, cloud), Fractured Minds (console, cloud), Levelhead (console, PC, cloud), Moving Out (console, PC, cloud), and Thumper (PC) leave the service. It’s still better than nothing.
