DriveClub and that „major” update

Evolution Studios have announced on their Facebook page that for a few hours, online services (or mainly, the servers) will not be available, because they would like to improve their performance and stability with this „major” update.

That is ringing bells. Is it a build-up to the still nowhere to be found PlayStation Plus version? It’s about time, they might finally roll this car six months after the game’s release out to the roads. It would be a good thing, but it might be a bit too late already.
