The first Assassin’s Creed came out almost 15 years ago, since then the game grew into one of the biggest franchises. It would be a good opportunity to bring the original game back for a remaster or remake.
This November it will be 15 years since the release of the first Assassin’s Creed, an action and stealth videogame where we met Altair in the time of the Third Crusade in the Holy Land that managed to hook a whole generation of gamers, enough to start one of the most profitable franchises. Now a video from Digital Dreams allows us to dream about its remastering.
This is a work of this channel with a texture mod executed on a RTX 3090 graphics card. The result is superb and makes Ubisoft’s development look like a much more recent release, at least in its visual aspect, standing out for offering a much more careful lighting. You can find out more by reading the description of Digital Dreams’ YouTube post. However, it’s not the first time a fan of the series has taken the time to unofficially remaster the action-adventure game starring Altair.
In the meantime, gamers can also enjoy the latest instalment in the veteran series, Assassins Creed: Valhalla, which has just received a major expansion. Ubisoft is working on a new generation for the franchise called Assassin’s Creed: Infinity, where it aims to go beyond studio logic and go for talent without barriers. Before that, however, another unofficial video game is planned.
