Xbox Game Pass Is Free For PC Gamers But Only In One Condition!

Microsoft decided to provide free access for Game Pass PC for three months as a ’thank you gift’ for supporting its latest releases.

The pace of Xbox Game Pass subscriptions is going pretty well, but that doesn’t stop those in charge from occasionally going for aggressive user recruitment campaigns. The latest example now comes in the form of a special promotion for PC gamers where, if you’ve played any of Microsoft’s three most recent releases, you can unlock up to three months of PC Game Pass for free.

“Thank you for playing and supporting the success of our latest PC games from Xbox Game Studios! If you’ve played Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5 or Age of Empires IV on PC from launch through February 28, 2022, we’re offering a 3-month trial of PC Game Pass (new members only) as a thank you,” – announced the US based company.

It doesn’t count if you’ve played these games on console or via the cloud; in other words, it’s an offer 100% focused on gamers who’ve trusted Microsoft’s three PC releases before 28 February. What if you played Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode, does that count towards eligibility? “Yes, both the Halo Infinite campaign and multiplayer mode are included for offer consideration,” the small print of the promo makes clear.

Despite the limitations, this is a good gift for those who haven’t yet joined Microsoft’s subscription service, which will allow these certain players to enjoy more than 100 games for three months. The rest can join Xbox Game Ultimate by paying just one euro for three months.
