MOVIE NEWS – Fast X’s Jason Momoa will be driving a lavender motorbike and sporting pink and purple nails if the star’s statements are to be believed.
Going up against Vin Diesel and his Death Race team is no easy task, but Fast X has certainly found the right actor in Jason Momoa: the Aquaman star will play the role of the main enemy in the upcoming sequel. Speaking to GQ, Momoa teased his work as the bad guy, stating, “I’m a peacock at the highest level, and I’m having the time of my life,” and revealed that he’d be wearing purple and pink painted toenails and driving a lavender motorcycle and car.
“It’s been hard because people always think I’m just this dude who plays [macho characters].”
“But I want to be moved, I want something new. Things are changing, and even the villain roles I’m playing now are eccentric.”
Jason Momoa’s Fast X villain is clearly going to be a little different than what people expect; the reveal of his lavender motorcycle and painted nails is sure to upset a particular audience segment. In any case, the actor seems eager for the public to see his eccentric villain.
Not much has been revealed about the plot of Fast X yet, but we do know that it will be the first of the last two films in the franchise.
We also know that Jason Momoa will be up against the likes of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, but Michael Rooker, Charlize Theron, Daniela Melchior and Brie Larson will also be joining the cast.
Louis Leterrier is currently directing Fast X (let’s hope he can make it to the premiere) and is scheduled to be released in the US on May 19, 2023, by Universal Pictures.
