The legendary game director, who also directed the original Resident Evil 4, shared his opinion on Capcom’s fresh Resident Evil 4 Remake on Twitter.

Resident Evil 4 is one of the most popular and influential horror games released in 2005 for the GameCube and PlayStation 2. The game was directed by Shinji Mikami, who is the father of the Resident Evil series. Mikami has since left Capcom and founded his own studio Tango Gameworks, whose latest creation will be Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Capcom announced this April that they are working on a revamped version of Resident Evil 4, which takes advantage of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S hardware capabilities and modernizes the gameplay and the story. The remake was released on April 15 and was a great success among critics and fans.

Mikami recently finished the Resident Evil 4 remake and shared his thoughts on Twitter. The famous game director tweeted a photo of one of the last scenes, with the caption: “RE4 cleared successfully. I enjoyed it very much.”

Mikami isn’t the only one who enjoyed the new version of Resident Evil 4.
