MOVIE NEWS – The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan celebrates the return of Melissa McBride as Carol in the upcoming spinoff of Daryl while criticising “toxic” fans.
The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan has expressed his delight at the return of Carol to the franchise. Melissa McBride will return as Carol in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Previous reports had suggested that she was unable to film in France for the series.
Now, Jeffrey Dean Morgan has taken to Twitter to congratulate McBride on her return to the Walking Dead universe while criticising the angry fans who were initially unhappy with the news that she would not be returning.
The actor, who plays Negan, hinted that McBride’s return was always in the works. (Contrary to what some fans may think. That is, that they fought – forced – the decision.) He said, “It’s just the love between norm and Melissa is stronger than the bs from outside.”
Initially, it was supposed that Daryl and Carol would play equally essential roles in the series. This is apparently still going to happen, despite earlier reports that he will only focus on Reedus’ character. Since The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon was later announced to only star Daryl, it is unknown when Carol will appear in the spinoff. Daryl Dixon is scheduled to premiere in the fall. However, McBride has only recently appeared on set. It is possible that Carol will not appear until the end of the first season. McBride initially dropped out of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon because filming occurred in France. So it would make sense that he would then have a limited role, which would reduce the amount of time he would spend overseas.
Carol’s return means that she and Daryl will face the dangers they face in France. This could include the new fast zombie versions of the post-credit scene from The Walking Dead: World Beyond, which is set in Paris. The pair will also meet new survivors, such as religious group member Isabelle (Clémence Poséy) and nightclub owner Quinn (Adam Nagaitis). There are still many mysteries surrounding The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. But fans of Carol will be delighted to see her return to the Walking Dead universe to face them alongside Daryl.

Nope. Opposite. Toxic is toxic. Nobody wants to hear it. Read it. It’s just the love between norm and Melissa is stronger than the bs from outside.
