There will be no rest for the fall, with so many games coming out. Among them is IguanaBee-developed Skull Island: Rise of Kong, to be published by GameMill Entertainment.

The publisher and developer only announced the release date alongside the new trailer, so they didn’t go into much detail with further information this time. Granted, we should add that it was announced just over a month ago, so we’re quickly getting to the point where we know when we can play it. In a broader sense, there’s not even a quarter of a year between the announcement and the release date!

Skull Island: Rise of Kong will cost $40, but the digital deluxe edition, dubbed Colossal Edition, will be $50. It will include eight exclusive film grains featuring the ability to experience a red-tinted rage mode and the original look of the classic 1933 and 1970s-era King Kong films, the Kong style pack with eight different colors to customize our Kong; a boss-rush mode allowing you to defeat all the titans of Skull Island, and a behind-the-scenes exclusive pack including looks at in-game artwork and the all-original orchestral soundtrack.”

Skull Island: Rise of Kong will be released on October 17 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
