Moon Knight Season 2: Disappointing Update from the Director!

CINEMA NEWS – Moon Knight season 2 update from season one director Mohamed Diab suggests all is not well in Jake Lockley’s (Oscar Isaac) paradise.

Moon Knight centers on Marc Spector and his alter ego Steven Grant, both manifestations of his dissociative identity disorder. They become involved in a captivating mystery permeated by the presence of ancient Egyptian deities. Although rumors of a Moon Knight season 2 have been swirling for some time now, there has been no official confirmation from Marvel Studios, and recent statements from the director have made it even more doubtful.

In an interview with Arabic Marvel (via The Cosmic Circus ), Diab revealed that Marvel Studios originally only guaranteed six episodes for the series. Diab clarified that Tom Hiddleston’s Loki series was the only MCU series to get a second season. Diab stated, “Marvel has defined this from day one. Marvel’s series projects are all six episodes, except for special projects like ‘WandaVision.’ from day one they said there would be two parts”. The renowned director-turned-producer also said that Marvel Studios always has a plan for their projects, even when they fail. “Marvel’s way is not the usual way, where if the project is successful, then I say let’s renew it with a second season. This is their plan, whether it succeeds or not, they have a plan”.
