MOVIE NEWS – Ryan Gosling‘s new movie promises to be more than just a simple remake, despite the fact that it is based on an eighties TV series.
Gosling this time plays a real, tough action hero in The Stuntman in the manner of John Wick – the parallel is not accidental, because the director David Leitch, who turned Keanu Reeves into an invincible justice. Leitch was a stuntman himself for many years, and now he makes no secret of the fact that with his new film he not only wants to entertain, but also pays tribute to his profession – and a little to himself. “The film is full of amazing stunts, and the vast majority of them are almost 100 percent real, meaning we only occasionally use tricks,” producer Kelly McCormick told Collider. – David wrote a kind of love letter to his profession, he wanted to show it from the inside, while delivering all the excitement that one expects from an action movie these days. Only the guys belonging to the trick section hung their noses a little during the filming, when they saw how much the stuntmen could do without them in front of the cameras.”
