November 2023 free PlayStation Plus games are coming to subscribers soon, but some members will get a different game this month.
Some PlayStation Plus subscribers will get a different free game in November 2023, as players in the Middle East will get Tropico 5 instead of Mafia 2: Definitive Edition. Every PS Plus member gets about three games per month as part of their subscription, and users can play those titles until they decide to cancel the service.
Sony has just revealed the free monthly PlayStaton Plus games for November 2023, confirming that Dragon Ball: The Breakers, Aliens: Fireteam Elite and Mafia 2: Definitive Edition will also be available to subscribers. Fans can play these titles starting November 7th, but they have until December 4th to add the games to their account. Now it looks like PS Plus users in the Middle East won’t be getting Mafia 2: Definitive Edition this month as it’s being replaced by Tropico 5.
This information comes from the region’s official PlayStation account, which has confirmed that PS Plus subscribers will receive Tropico 5, Dragon Ball: The Breakers, and Aliens: Fireteam Elite this month. As you can see from the image, users can start playing these games from November 7th, but they have until December 5th to claim them. Tropico 5 was given out as a free PS Plus game in May 2016, so some subscribers were able to redeem it back then. In addition, Tropico 5 is included in the catalog of games available to PS Plus Extra and Premium members, so players at these levels can play it right now.
PlayStation Plus members sometimes get access to other games, specifically in cases where a particular title has not been released in their region. It is also possible that players will receive an extra game in addition to the worldwide offer. For example, PS Plus subscribers in Asia received Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris as a bonus game in February 2023. The game was added to the catalog alongside Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Evil Dead: The Game, Mafia: The Definitive Edition and OlliOlli World, making a total of five titles for the month.
Sony has yet to reveal the list of titles coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium in November 2023, and it will be interesting to see if different regions get different games. Unlike monthly free titles, fans won’t be able to play these games once they leave the PS Plus library, as Sony updates the catalog in the middle of each month.
