Horizon Forbidden West: Major Graphical Improvements For The PC Version? Here’s The Trailer! [VIDEO]

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition on PC gets DLSS support! The game, which will include the base version of the hugely successful Forbidden West, as well as The Burning Shore expansion, was presented by Nvidia in a new trailer at CES 2024.

The trailer confirmed that the game will support Deep Learning Super Sampling technology. The latter can improve the frame rate of certain games using the 40-series Nvidia GPUs.

A release date for the PC version of the game has not yet been announced. But Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition’s Steam page lists 2024 as a tentative release window.

Developed by Nixxes, the team behind many of Sony’s recent PC ports, the PC version of the game will also support DLAA and Nvidia’s Reflex technology. In addition to the announcement trailer, several screenshots of the PC version of the game were also released.

Horizon Forbidden West was released in February 2022 for PS4 and PS5. According to developer Guerrilla, 8.4 million copies were sold by mid-April 2023.

In the game, series protagonist Aloy races to save the planet’s crumbling biosphere before brutal storms and a mysterious plant disease destroy humanity.

In the Burning Shores expansion, which was not released for PS4, the mech hunter Aloy travels to the ruins of Los Angeles in search of information about the ancient progenitor race she fought in the base game.

Guerrilla is currently working on an online project. The latter also takes place in the Horizon universe. He also promised more “epic solo adventures” starring Aloy.
