There’s an Easter egg in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League that could hint at the return of Calendar Man or Batman. There are plenty of easter eggs that hint at other DC characters (Peacemaker, Deathstroke, Black Manta), but a secret in Metropolis could point to something more interesting. The video embedded below is about that. The city has several calendars that together form three short words. The calendars have certain dates marked on them: January 8, February 5, March 23, April 9, May 12, June 12, July 18, August 5, September 20, October 21, November 18, December 14. The December one is in Centennial Park, and here we see a Batman symbol instead of a red ring, and this could be the one the secret message refers to.

If we translate the calendar days into letters in monthly order, we get “he will return”. That’s a pretty big secret, and even hardcore DC fans couldn’t have guessed it so easily. It seems that Rocksteady may bring back characters in later seasons and Batman may be resurrected, although the video seems to be more about Calendar Man showing up. He made his comic book debut in the 1950s, and he’s also a bad guy. Batman’s return as a clone, possibly from an alternate Earth, is possible, and the two characters mentioned could appear over the next four seasons, as unfortunately Rocksteady has also been pushed into the live service model by Warner, no doubt out of necessity.

We took a look at Rocksteady’s last major game, Batman: Arkham Knight, released almost 9 years ago, and the results are staggering. 3018 active players. So an older game is already beating the studio’s latest creation, and it’s a dismal failure for the live service model.
