However, we have seen examples of Ubisoft bringing back an older IP.There’s the Splinter Cell remake, which was in the news earlier today, as well as Prince of Persia, which recently got Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and The Rogue Prince of Persia, which is coming soon to Early Access. So there’s a chance that Watch_Dogs could make a comeback in the future, but it wouldn’t be surprising if they explore a remake or remaster first, and only develop a new episode if it generates good enough sales.

All of this is unofficial, of course, but regardless, don’t really expect any announcements about the Watch_Dogs IP during Ubisoft Forward in June. Silence is an admission of guilt.
