Capcom: The Street Fighter V beta will end later

Street Fighter V’s beta was supposed to end today, but seeing how Capcom’s servers were overloaded, the Japanese company has decided that finishing the beta in this time would be unfair to the players, so it’s going to be extended out for some time, which wasn’t disclosed yet.

This is a fair move by Capcom, because the pre-orderers – those are eligible to play the beta – won’t have that awful first impression, when they think about Street Fighter V’s beta. As soon as the servers are up to the task, the beta will restart in order to finally test the netcode, which the beta was supposed to do. Everyone deserves some SF V already, right? This is going to be a good lesson to Capcom, because they will have experience about this mishap with the servers dying in next Spring, when the game will launch on PlayStation 4 and PC. In the long run, only we will be getting a better product! Unreal Engine 4 will be able to show what it’s capable of in this genre. (Same goes to Tekken 7.)
