Activision Strikes Back at Massive Black Ops 6 Leaks While Campaign Spoilers Run Wild

Activision is taking aggressive action against Call of Duty Black Ops 6 leaks that have surfaced on social media, including major spoilers from the campaign mode. The company has begun issuing DMCA takedowns to remove the leaked content, but the damage might already be irreversible.

Black Ops 6 is one of the most highly anticipated entries in the Call of Duty franchise, but the excitement has been marred by widespread leaks. These leaks have revealed critical details about the game’s campaign and multiplayer modes, much to the frustration of Activision and the development team.

According to reports, several players and leakers who accessed a beta version of the game have shared full scenes and crucial gameplay details online. Despite Activision’s efforts to contain the leaks by filing DMCA claims, the content continues to spread. One Treyarch developer expressed their disappointment, stating, “It’s really frustrating to see our big reveal ruined like this. We were all excited to showcase it in a special way.”

In recent news, Activision has also revealed the first details of the new zombies mode for Black Ops 6, along with confirmation that players will be able to save their progress. More information about the multiplayer mode and Warzone will be unveiled during the Call of Duty Next event on August 28. The beta for Black Ops 6 will be available from August 30 for those who pre-order the game or subscribe to Game Pass, with public access opening on September 6.
