Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2: Unbelievable! The Release Is Further Delayed!

One of the most awaited RPGs is facing yet another delay. The release of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been officially pushed to the first half of 2025. The Chinese Room and Paradox Interactive have confirmed this new release window.

Gamers have been eagerly anticipating the release of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, the new RPG from The Chinese Room that aims to revive the World of Darkness with an immersive vampire experience. Unfortunately, this journey has been fraught with delays and even a change in the production studio, and the situation has now worsened with the recent decision to delay the game’s release once more.

According to an official statement from Paradox Interactive, the new release window for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set for the first half of 2025. The statement reads, “Earlier this year, Paradox reaffirmed our commitment to delivering high-quality games to our players, and this launch update is a proactive decision to build on that commitment. While the game is in a good enough place that we were able to maintain our planned release window, Paradox and The Chinese Room have collaboratively decided to prioritize polish.”

The developers assure that the additional months of development “will be used to ensure quality, integrating more time between testing and launch, and making sure that we release the game when it’s ready. The extra time gives us an opportunity to adjust certain areas, such as Fabien, and incorporate more feedback from the community.” The Chinese Room and Paradox also promise that the delay will allow them to add new features to the adventure: “We will also use the time to expand the story of the game, and now Bloodlines 2 will have more than twice as many endings as its predecessor.”

Fans of Bloodlines 2 will be kept updated on all developments. In addition to announcing the release delay, the creators have promised to keep RPG enthusiasts informed with frequent updates, including Dev Diaries and in-depth features. “We’re not going into a period of silence; our teams have been working hard to create the best vampire action RPG ever and have a lot of exciting content to share.” Fans will have to wait for the project leaders to set a new date for their calendars.
