Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare hits the PS4 August 2014

According to an article on PS4daily after releasing the announcement trailer past two days ago, Eletronic Arts has finally announced the release date for Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare on the PlayStation 4. The two factions will go to war at August 19th.

The game will contain everything from the vanilla Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare experience to the DLC that has kept the game alive and thriving since its launch.

Plants vs. Zombies on PS4 will run at a hefty resolution of 1080p at 60 frames per second (unlike Watch Dogs, haha) which Garden Warfare’s Producer, Brian Lindley says makes for a silky smooth gameplay experience that will make players make happy.

Like many games nowadays, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare has some pre-order bonuses at participating retailers. If you pre-order the game from one of the chosen retailers, you’ll receive two digital card packs along with PlayStation exclusive customization options for your character including items from Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, and Fat Princess.
