Remote play on the new Xperia Z3 and Z3 smartphones

Sony has revealed their brand new Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact smartphones. While both have some very interesting tech inside of them. Most awesome is the PS4 Remote Play.

The new Z3 types of smartphones will be the first to support PS4 Remote Play, but there are some limits. If you want to play games you will need to get a Game Control Mount to connect your Dualshock 4 to the phone. Only Wi-Fi network gaming presently supported.

These phones will be good companion devices for the PlayStation 4, if you don’t buy a PS Vita, but how are they as phones? Both the Xperia Z3 and the Z3 Compact split similar attributes.

Xperia Z3 and Z3 compact models comprise a 20.7 mega-pixel camera that has the ability to record video in 4K resolution.

You’ll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.5 GHz quad-core CPU with 4G LTE modem, and the smartphones are highly dust and water resistant.

It’s the outside of the phones that make both models various. The Xperia Z3 measures 5.2in and comes in black, copper, green, and white colours. The Xperia Z3 compact measures 4.6in and comes in white, black, orange or green. Both phones will be available this fall, but the prices unknown.
