“Project Scissors”, the spiritual successor to the Clock Tower was announced a while ago. The initial announcement got a lot of interest since the development team working on the project has a remarkable pedigree. Sadly, we heard a lot less about the project since then.

However, thanks to a recent tweet from the Project Scissors Twitter account, we have some exciting news and a trailer to report. Besides the first teaser trailer itself (shown below) we can finally learn the project’s name. The title is now known as NightCry, (not to be confused with “night cry”!)..

The teaser trailer below doesn’t display any gameplay and it is instead a live action trailer that gives you absolutely no hint of what the game could be about. In fact, it looks like something thrown together for a low budget horror movie. But hey: it’s still a project in progress! There is no word yet on when the game will be receiving a release, but we will provide updates as they become available.
