While there were some problems at the launch of DriveClub, with the various patches it became more and more smooth and enjoyable. There’s also a dedicated fanbase who just can’t get enough of Evolution Studios’ beautiful visuals. Evolution just posted some images on the DriveClub Facebook page indicating that the PS4 racer would be heading to Japan.

While there isn’t any track offering, with the millions of cherry blossom petals (so you can admire the particle physics demonstration once again, haha), it’s safe to assume that some iteration of the Japanese countryside is going to be featured in the next content update.

That mountain in the background also resembles a lot to Mount Fuji, though we’re definitely not topography experts here. Whether this new environment will be free or paid is yet to be revealed.
