Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin gets 1080p/60fps on PS4

Details of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, the new-gen re-release of Dark Souls II emergent.

The remastered version will show glorious 1080p/60fps across all three proposed platforms (Xbox One, PS4, and PC). Even the PC version will look better, according to associate global producer Daniel Markov, as opposed to the player-designed graphical mods. Lighting effects are noticeably more striking in the new-gen version.

The game will have a huge overhaul as far as enemy and item placement as well, which means that layouts will be different than in the original release. New NPC’s like the Dark Phantom (which can appear anywhere during online play) will also keep veterans on edge. As for the difficulty, Markov kept things cryptic:
“It’s hard to say if it’s more or less difficult. It’s different.”
