Warhammer, the popular board game had plenty of video game incarnations over the years. From RTS to action games, to RPG games, pretty much every genre has been covered in the Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 universe.

Yesterday a new game in the series has been announced. Known as Warhammer: End Times — Vermintide, it’s a co-operative first person shooter and melee combat game. Players can choose between five different characters, each with their unique skills and abilities.

Fatshark CEO, Martin Wahlund, hopes to “[win] the hearts of enthusiasts and newcomers with this new take on the Warhammer story.”
Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is being developed by Fatshark and plans to release in the second half of 2015 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Check out the teaser trailer below for a representation of the game’s feel.
