The standalone prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order: The Old Blood

In last May, Wolfenstein: The New Order was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed this shooter – MachineGames has put a decent game onto our table. However, the Swedish team didn’t stop just there, as Bethesda has announced a standalone prequel that will launch on May 5. It’s called Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, in which B.J. Blazkowicz will make a return to the battlefield.

The prequel will play in 1946’s Bavaria and will have two missions for us. In the first one, we get to return to the Castle Wolfenstein and in the second one, our place will be the city of Wulfburg, where we get to see the return of occultism – if you played Return to Castle Wolfenstein, you probably know what will happen. Interesting thing to note: the 20 euro standalone will be available in disc format for PC and PS4, but the Xbox One version will be available only in digital format…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
