Call of Duty: Black Ops III – The PlayStation 4 beta was a success

Call of Duty has beaten records with the Black Ops III beta – which was available between August 19 and August 23 first on the PlayStation 4, according to the agreement between Activision and Sony -, as it was the most successful beta on this console up to this day. This is also because in the final stretch, not just preorderers were able to play, but everyone else was able to get a brief taste of Treyarch’s work.

Several milliion players jumped onto the beta, and because of it, Treyarch got enough successful feedback and technical data to further improve the final game, which will be available from November 6. This is typically the combination of the – currently – most successful current generation console and one of the biggest franchises.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s beta wasn’t a recordbeater in just the download amounts, but it also delivered the most gameplay sessions and hours spent in the game as well, which makes it an absolutely respectable result. Congratulation, Treyarch and Activision!
