Hard Reset: Redux - Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Do you remember Hard Reset? No? It’s okay, we got you covered: it’s a first-person, cyberpunk-themed shooter. Flying Wild Hog‘s game hit the stores in 2011. Previously, we wrote about how Hard Reset is currently in development for the PlayStation 4. Since then, we heard absolutely nothing about this port, just dead air – until now.

Apparently, Hard Reset isn’t in development just for the PlayStation 4 – this title is going to be available on the Xbox One as well if we can believe the German USK rating. (Obviously, the game got an 18+ rating.) However, the game is now called Hard Reset: Redux. What is the reason behind the renaming? A sequel or just a current-gen port? We’d just guess it’s going to be the latter. After all, Metro 2033’s and Metro Last Light’s PlayStation 4 ports were also called Redux.

We don’t know any other details of Hard Reset: Redux at the moment – maybe there’s going to be an announcement shortly. (Or maybe, just maybe, a new trailer as well.)
