JRPG fans rejoice: A great addition enters the PS2-emulated games’ list

PlayStation 2 games on the PS4 are slowly expanding. While our expectations will never be met on Sony‘s current-gen console regarding the supported games, Sony still keeps adding games to the pile. This time, the Japanese company adds a JRPG game to the supported games. It is going to be Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits, developed by Cattle Call.

Arc The Lad launched a little over twenty years ago, as the first installment hit the PS1 in June 1995. Three main episodes arrived on the PlayStation, followed by two more on the PS2: we are receiving the former game. We don’t see much chance for the second PS2 title (End of Darkness) to be supported as it had online multiplayer back in the day.

The North American PlayStation Store will add Arc the Lad: Twilight Spirits tomorrow with a twist. Sony forgot to confirm the price of the game! We’re here a day before the launch, and we have no idea whether it will have 10, 15 or 20 bucks. That’s weird.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
