Another company enters the VR fray! [VIDEO]

This is definitely a company that nobody expected to enter into the market of virtual reality. After HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR, another product will be available… however, it’s only getting a limited amount in just one country!

This company is none other than McDonalds! Yes, the fast food chain with the slogan I’m lovin’ it. In Sweden, fourteen establishments will offer the product, which is called Happy Goggles. It works similarly to Google Cardboard, and you can get one between March 5 and March 12.

3500 Happy Goggles will be available for around 4 dollars. If there’s massive interest for them, McDonalds will roll it out to other countries, possibly including North America and Western Europe.

To have virtual reality with the Happy Goggles, you must use a smartphone, just like with Google Cardboard. Are you lovin’ it?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
