Since the release date announcement of Final Fantasy XV, the game started to receive more and more media coverage. Right now, the director, Hajime Tabata mentioned new information to Japanese publication Dengeki about FF XV that comes to consoles at the end of September.
The Platinum demo (which will not be updated like Episode Duscae was) has a dynamic resolution with the maximum of 1080p. The framerate could be better, but Tabata mentions that we shouldn’t look at Platinum as a tech demo – instead, it wants players to show more of the game’s world. Right now, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One port are technically identical, but it can change by the final release. Tabata also stated that in the next six months, they will spend their time to graphically improve and optimise the game.
Square Enix will bring FF XV to the E3, but there are plans for other places, too. If we had to guess, they might be bringing the new Final Fantasy to the Gamescom. Tabata talked about the DLCs, too: there may be free and paid DLCs, but no other details were brought up about them. The PC version is still on the cards.
Hopefully, the decade since the announcement will not have an effect on the final result.
