After several delays, the development is finally over: Hello Games has completed No Man’s Sky!
While it’s likely that there will be a first-day patch, as with all bigger games, Sean Murray was glad to announce that after four years of developing, their game is now complete, and ready to be manufactured.
„It’s happened. No Man’s Sky just went gold. I’m so incredibly proud of this tiny team. 4 years of emotions” – says Murray, who also attached an image of the team’s celebration. He’s right; there don’t seem to be many people in the photo!
Becoming gold means that the August 10 release date is now set in stone, and the PlayStation 4/PC duo will receive this game on that day. Discovering the galaxy, destroying some planets, and so forth.
We wonder how much will the hype will affect the game; it might look good for now, but how decent will it be when we get a copy for ourselves? We’ll see in a month or so.
